iPhone SE 2020 was globally launched last month with the powerful A13 Bionic SoC processor. The more affordable SE iPhone series packs Apple’s latest tech in popular designs and pocket-friendly prices. Its design has been taken from the older iPhone 8 model. It is available in three colour variables of white, and red; and three storage variants.

The base 64 GB model is priced at Rs. 42,500 while the 128 GB and 256 GB variants are priced at Rs. 47,800 and Rs. 58,300 respectively. HDFC credit and debit card holders can avail an instant cashback of up to Rs. 3,600. Furthermore, Flipkart will also offer cashback up to 5 percent and six months of free YouTube Premium subscription. iPhone SE 2020 offers a 4.7-inch Retina HD IPS LCD display with True Tone, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and Haptic Touch support. Interestingly, the phone sticks with the single rear camera setup with a 12-megapixels camera. However, Apple promises stunning pictures with its integrated Optical Image Stabilisation. Moreover, it also offers 4K 60fps video recording capability and Smart HDR. For selfies, the new iPhone SE packs a 7-megapixel front camera and also uses monocular depth estimation and machine learning for better portraits.

Additionally, it allows you to binge-watch video content up to 7 hours on a single charge. It also offers fast charging support for the 18W charger which can charge up to its 50 per cent in half an hour. However, buyers would need to buy an 18 W charger separately for faster charging. It offers connectivity support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 as well as a lightning port. But, it wouldn’t offer the popular 3.5 mm jack unlike its predecessor. Moreover, it does not offer Apple’s Face ID recognition feature and rather comes with Touch ID for security. Its range of sensors includes ambient light sensor, accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, besides the fingerprint sensor.
