Queen has already received rave reviews from movie critics and now and the movie is all set to get appreciation from audiences on the 7th of March. Featuring Kangana Ranaut, Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon in the lead roles, the film denotes the story of a small town Punjabi girl who travels for her honeymoon alone. Commentators have already rated the move with 4 stars and stated it to be the best performance from Kangna till date. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Queen begins on a high note with London Thumakda song describing a Punjabi wedding atmosphere. After this Rani (Kangana Ranaut) jet sets to Paris for her pre-booked honeymoon, even after being dumped by her fiancé, two days before her marriage. This is where the beauty of the film lies: silences, pauses, saying so much when few words are enough. The anger, hurt and messy nature of Rani reveals her mental process and her self-transformation. Through this movie, Vikas passes on a social message to the Indian women out there, that no matter how bad things are here for women, she can always find her way out and emerge victorious in her own specific way.
